Chris Stapleton, Ashley McBryde and Steve Earle are set to perform at the ninth annual Nashville Songwriter Awards. Organizers announced that the ceremony will take place September 22, 2026, at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville.
The event will recognize several of the industry’s leading songwriters and highlight notable songs from the past year. Previously announced honorees include Vince Gill, Paul Williams, Blake Pendergrass and Riley Green, each recognized for their contributions to songwriting and country music.
Stapleton, McBryde and Earle bring distinct writing styles and long records of commercial and critical success. Their appearances will add a live performance element to a night focused on the people behind the songs.
Several awards are expected to remain unannounced until the ceremony, keeping part of the program private ahead of the event.
The annual celebration continues to place songwriters at the center, recognizing the creative work that shapes Nashville’s music community and reaches audiences far beyond the city.
