Driftless Dialogue: Bumblebee Conservation

Driftless Dialogue: Bumblebee Conservation

The Kickapoo Valley Reserve will host their monthly Driftless Dialogue lecture. This month’s topic is “Bumblebee Conservation”. Join Conservationist and Native Plant Expert Susan Carpenter to discover the life history, ecology, and healthy habitats of Wisconsin’s native bumble bee species. Learn how photography is used to document and monitor, how to identify the species that live in your region, and
how you can help with pollinator conservation.

The event is free and open to the public. Coffee and snacks served at 9:30am and the presentation begins at 10am.

Brought to you by the Kickapoo Valley Reforestation (Nuzum) Fund, the University of
Wisconsin-Madison College of Agricultural & Life Sciences & Friends of the KVR.
