1960’s Christmas Display

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas – of the 1960s – at the Monroe County Local History Room and Museum in Sparta.  Starting Monday, November 22nd at 6:30pm, visitors can time travel to the not-so-distant past by viewing the History Room’s special Christmas display, “A Swinging ‘60s Christmas.” 

The museum display, “A Swinging ‘60s Christmas,” runs from November 23rd through January 8th.  Special opening reception from 6:30-8 on Monday, November 22nd.  The Monroe County Local History Room is located at 200 West Main Street, Sparta.  Regular museum hours are Tuesday-Saturday, 9-4.  Closed holidays.   For more information call 608-269-8680 or visit Facebook.com/MCLHR.  Admission is free.
